In 2019 we set out on a bold mission to build a market-leading oil and petroleum products company that would serve West Africa’s energy needs. We appreciate the unwavering support of all our stakeholders as we have developed RECL into a foremost performing BIDEC.
RECL was founded in 2015 and subsequently acquired in 2019 by 401K Investment Limited. In 2020, the company commenced active trading operations, and since then, we have progressively increased trade activities year-on-year as dictated by demand.
We kicked off trading activities in earnest in 2020 with crude oil and refined petroleum products including Gasoline and Gasoil. The company’s unmatched quality of service delivery has resulted in growing local demand as well as consistent revenue growth.
In response to market demand in 2020 and 2021, we diversified and extended our product lines to include residential fuel oil and premix fuel. As such, RECL now trades five products crude oil, gas oil, gasoline, premix fuel and residential fuel oil.
At RECL, we understand the role of strategic partnerships in delivering our brand promise and value proposition. This is why we partner with internationally acclaimed commodity trading houses to ensure the seamless distribution of our products.
Because of our commitment to quality, we dedicate substantial attention to process improvement and driving operational efficiency for the benefit of our customers. Our culture of teamwork and practice of putting our customers first has allowed us to leverage economies of scale and provide our products at competitive prices. Our growth is a result of the collective effort of our stakeholders who are driven to meet the wide-ranging energy needs of Africans.
Our current two-fold strategy is focused on building value and consistently evolving to anticipate and quickly meet the demands of the market. We trade in Ghana with offices in Tema (Operations) and Accra (Trade and Administration). Our head office at 1 Maurice Yameogo Street, North Ridge, Accra, Greater Accra Region. GPS GA-377-4100 serves us our Trade and Administration office.
